Calico Kennels is located in Brevard, North Carolina. Approximately a three hour drive from - Atlanta, Georgia;  Knoxville, Tennessee; or Charlotte, North Carolina.


The Matriarch  " HOLLY "

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, both elegant and "majestic" in appearance, is a beautiful dog by anyone's standard. Trademarks of Cavaliers include their large expressive eyes, non-trim silky coats, and long feathered ears.  Their small size, ideally between 13 and 18 pounds, makes them perfect  for both urban or rural living. The Cavaliers have no function other than as a pet and companion, bringing affection continuously ( a real love sponge ), show little competitiveness, and are cherished for their friendliness and lack of aggression. Cavaliers have a long shelf life, remaining puppies forever. Not being a one person dog, they love everyone in the family equally.
